Attorney Jacob Walters is a 1975 graduate of DePaul University Law School (Chicago, IL), and was admitted to the practice of law in Massachusetts that same year.  Mr. Walters has been employed as a full time attorney since 1976, and has maintained an office in Brookline since 1984.  Mr. Walters regularly appears before the Brookline Planning and Zoning Boards, as well as the before the Brookline Board of Selectmen on behalf of businesses, particularly restaurants seeking Liquor licenses.  Some representative clients assisted by Attorney Walters in obtaining Liquor licenses are St. Petersburg Café, Ginza II, Zaftigs, Best Cellars, The Public House and Finale.

Mr. Walters also represents clients on a regular basis in the District and Superior Courts of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in non- criminal matters.  Mr. Walters has handled thousands of real estate transactions representing sellers and buyers of houses and condominiums, as well as mortgage lenders.  Some of the mortgage lenders represented by Mr. Walters include Brookline Bank, Bank of America, Summit Mortgage, Citizens Bank, GMAC Mortgage, Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, and Sovereign Bank.

Jake Walters has resided in Brookline since 1979 with his wife Laura. Their two children both attended Brookline schools, and are graduates of Brookline High School.
